IP LICENSING

To anyone researching CAPCOM right now

I believe that if you found CAPCOM’s website and clicked on this review after going through so much information online, it means you already have a certain level of interest or passion for CAPCOM. Otherwise, you probably wouldn’t spend this much time looking into it step by step.

Turning my passion for games into a source of motivation at work

I’ve been a gamer since I was young, so I always hoped I could build a career around something I truly enjoy. When choosing a job, I asked myself two questions: What do I want to do? and What am I good at? With years of gaming experience and a genuine passion for games, I decided to enter the gaming industry right after graduation.
I’ve always loved Mega Man X4 and Street Fighter II, so joining CAPCOM and having the chance to work closely with these IPs felt like a dream come true. It allows me to pour my passion into my work while using my strengths.
Even though I already had ten years of marketing experience in the gaming industry, licensing was something completely new to me. There were many challenges along the way, but seeing the licensed products and collaborations we worked on finally released in the market gave me a sense of accomplishment I had never felt before. Turning an intangible IP into a real, physical product is incredibly rewarding.

A place where I feel supported, trusted, and able to grow

A big part of this experience comes from CAPCOM’s work culture. The open and friendly atmosphere, combined with a flat organizational structure, allows everyone to share ideas freely and without pressure. When challenges arise, the culture of knowledge-sharing and mutual support really shows its strength.
We solve problems together, learn from one another, and continue to grow through every experience. It’s truly a positive and supportive environment.

I hope this helps you find the path that fits you best

In the end, your life and career belong to you, and everyone has different backgrounds and personalities. This environment may not be the perfect match for everyone, but I sincerely hope this review helps you understand your own needs and decide whether this workplace is right for you.
