DESIGNER
There was a time when I doubted my own worth.
It was Zangief from Street Fighter who gave me
the courage.
On the way forward, facing the relentless Hadouken and Shoryuken from Ryu and Ken felt like the various challenges and trials one encounters in work or life. Zangief broke through obstacles, trusted in his muscles, and never doubted himself. So, no matter what difficulties we face, Zangief taught us how to persevere and move forward with courage.
When I joined Capcom, my first project was Mega Man X DiVE. As a long-time Mega Man fan, I was very ecstatic. DiVE is the product of a collaborative effort between the Taiwanese and Japanese teams. In this new Mega Man universe, everyone exchanged ideas with one another, realizing the dream of cross-generational collaboration within the Mega Man series.
I still remember the overwhelming response on social media when I completed the animation for X's Ultimate Armor. The team and players excitedly discussed and looked forward to this new work. Adapting a console game into a mobile game brought many difficulties and challenges in production and design, but we overcame them one by one. Not only did the team experience growth, but even I personally grew both mentally and technically.
If you are also someone who loves games and has dreams, you won’t be alone at Capcom. Here, we have a strong and trustworthy team that will fight alongside you. We warmly welcome you to join us. Horosho! (This is Zangief’s catchphrase).
