Marketing
I’ve worked at Capcom Taiwan for over ten years, and during this time, the company’s direction has constantly evolved with market trends. We started by focusing mainly on marketing and operating games for the Taiwan market, but slowly expanded into different business areas, building a more diverse marketing approach. As our business transformed, our communication with the Japan headquarters also became much closer.
Marketing
My time working in the marketing department has been the most fulfilling
and challenging experience of my career. My primary responsibilities include managing
cross-industry collaborations and community promotion, which allowed me to form daily
interactions with different brands and partners plan various creative activities to enhance
our product's exposure.
Marketing
During my time at Capcom, I truly felt how much the company values its IPs. Here, no one treats a “title” as just a “product.” Every detail is handled with care and respect. From development teams to marketing , whether it's discussing strategies, events, or just a simple SNS post, everyone makes sure it stays true to the essence of the itselfs. This level of dedication has also shaped my own approach to work, reminding me that every task carries the effort and passion of many team members behind it.
Licensing
I believe that if you found CAPCOM’s website and clicked on this review after going through so much information online, it means you already have a certain level of interest or passion for CAPCOM. Otherwise, you probably wouldn’t spend this much time looking into it step by step.
Licensing
Before joining Capcom, I was already working in the gaming industry. Because I love Japanese culture, I hoped from the very beginning of my job hunt to find a work environment where I could actively use my Japanese language skills.
Licensing
Hello everyone! I’m a recent graduate from Japan, and I’m currently in charge of IP licensing at CAPCOM.
Before joining, I honestly had very little understanding of what “licensing” truly meant. It wasn’t until I stepped into this role that I realized IP licensing is everywhere in our daily lives—from collaboration merchandise, game partnerships, themed cafés, to various marketing campaigns. All of these are driven by licensing behind the scenes.
Programmer
As a member of CAPCOM’s overseas branch, I have been with the company for more than ten years, working as a web engineer.
I mainly handle the development and maintenance of operation systems for online games. Although operation tools are not part of the game’s core content, they play an important supporting role. Through stable data analysis and tool development, we help colleagues from other departments focus on what matters most—creating fun and engaging game content. Being part of the “behind-the-scenes” support that enhances the player experience carries a lot of responsibility, but it also brings a strong sense of accomplishment.
